Some more Greek – D29

Some Greek reading exercise

Today we did had Greek class. As it appeared to be, nothing very important happened, although I do have to admit I felt a little bad, because I’m still late on the lessons and I’m not doing my best to master this class. In fact, this is the class I haven’t paid attention to so it was important for me to realize that my performance on mastering this class has been very poor. I made a commitment in getting up to date this week and I’m going to accomplish it, even if I don’t sleep. Yes, that’s how badass I’ll be.

Let’s do some Greek… NOT – D25

As you may know, Monday’s are Greek days. As you also may know, we went on our Handbook Retreat to Atitlán last week, so we didn’t have class that day. Apparently, Moris didn’t know so he arrived at last Monday and found out there was nobody at the MPC. I found this a little confusing; since we told him we were leaving to Atitlán. Today he didn’t showed up and Bert told us he had this reunion or something like that, but we don’t know for sure what happened. So, we decided to do individual work.

Learning Greek! And managing chaos… – D4

Today was an exciting day. We started learning Greek and everything seem to be going pretty well. After a dialogue with Moris Polanco, our Greek professor, the “class” began. Everything was going well until we flooded the room with questions about pronunciation, writing, and meaning of the Greek words. There was more than 5 people talking at the same time and everything seemed like chaos. We learned that self-control is very important for many reasons. First of all, we need it to respect the professor. Then, to create an environment that allows an easy and organized learning. With organization, everything becomes easier. Btw, I really enjoyed the class. Αυ ρεβοιρ!
